Other Stuff Teens Need to Know

Home Alone - You've probably heard this a hundred times but, even though you are a teen, you are still at risk when you're home alone. The most at risk age group is between 11 and 17. If you follow some basic safety guidelines, you will reduce your chances of becoming a victim.

Talking To Strangers - Everyone has to learn to talk to strangers but talking to strangers can be dangerous so it's good to get some information and/or training to test your instincts before you get into trouble. Some of the stuff in this section may seem simplistic but these are simple concepts that apply to people of all ages. Therefore, this section is aimed at all ages.

HQ is also in your community!

Suicide Prevention

When we visit 9th grade health classes, we talk about how you can get help or give help when you or someone you know is feeling sad or even thinking about suicide.  And if you need to talk with one of us while we're at your school, just ask.
