National Information and Referral Resources

Here at Headquarters we work hard to collect information on all the health and human service programs in Douglas County. We cannot however keep track of these resources outside of our area so here are a few national Information and Referral (I&R) services that can refer you to the help you are looking for.

Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender

For national GLBT I&R there is the GLBT National Help Center with two hotlines providing telephone and email peer-counseling. They have a large resource database with 18,000 local resources for cities and towns across the country.
